UFOs in the Bible:
Some UFOs/aliens enthusiasts invoked that the celestial objects (UFOs) described in the Bible are proof that spaceships and ETs exist. However, are UFOs real? Do ETs really exist? Before we prove that all these claims are false conceptions, let us study first the verses that depict Ezekiel's experience with a UFO.
Ezekiel 1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
Ezekiel 1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
Ezekiel 1:6 And every one had four faces, and everyone had four wings.
Ezekiel 1:7 And their feet were straight feet, and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the color of burnished brass.
Ezekiel 1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
Ezekiel 1:9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
Ezekiel 1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four, had the face of an ox on the left side; the four also had the face of an eagle.
Ezekiel 1:11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of everyone were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
Ezekiel 1:12 And they went everyone straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went, and they turned not when they went.
Ezekiel 1:13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures, and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
Ezekiel 1:14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
Ezekiel 1:15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
Ezekiel 1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
Ezekiel 1:17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
Ezekiel 1:18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.
Ezekiel 1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
Ezekiel 1:20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was on the wheels.
Ezekiel 1:21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
Ezekiel 1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living the creature was as the color of the terrible crystal stretched forth over their heads above.
Ezekiel 1:23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
Ezekiel 1:24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
Ezekiel 1:25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads when they stood and had let down their wings.
Ezekiel 1:26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
Ezekiel 1:27 And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness roundabout.
Can Ezekiel's encounter be true?
In the year 1487, the first real picture depicting a circular type of aircraft was found in Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches. Although he owned several drawings that illustrate circular flying machines, these sketches were actually not spaceships but armored cars or tanks. The first photo that captured a flying saucer was taken from Mount Washington, New Hampshire in 1870. Then the next photo came from France in 1910 and another from the US in 1920.
From all these findings, we can infer that anyone who experienced UFO sightings from 1947 onwards, as prescribed by the Intelligent Konstant Theory, would most likely describe this unfamiliar object in the sky as a flying disk or flying saucer. Even journalists would most likely use these words on their papers from time to time. Mufon journals provide such evidence. By determining how many times the words flying disk and extraterrestrial were used from 1970 to 2001, their journals provide solid proof that information can be transferred like wildfire from year to year, from journals to books, from generation to generation. However, interestingly, the word flying saucer was never ever mentioned in their newspapers.
In the US, there was this radio drama anthology The War of the Worlds aired by CBS in the year 1938. The program broadcasted an alien invasion by Martians which was perceived by the listeners to be true and currently in progress on planet Earth. The episodes were accepted widely by its audience to be real which eventually created both panic and outrage among Americans. The 1947 media hype which was just an aftermath of 1938 provides another proof that information or namos can be transferred from time to time from a single source to multiple audiences as well. However, if we can only prove that there are aerial sightings of celestial phenomena that resemble an airplane or aircraft from January 0001 to April 1561 then it is highly probable that the UFOs hypes were true. But until there was no hard evidence from the primitive to the ancient, classical, medieval, and renaissance eras, then the idea of UFOs was only probably conceptualized during the industrial periods from 1750 to 1850.
In addition, the UFO sightings observed by Christopher Columbus in 1492, Edmund Halley in 1676, Ezekiel of the Bible in 593 BC, Alexander the Great in 329 BC, and the many writings and carvings like the Nuremberg chronicle in 1034, Hamburg Germany's artwork in 1697, Basel Switzerland woodcarving in 1566 and the 16th-century woodcut by Hans Glaser 1561, are pieces that do not fit in the big puzzle of the Industrial Revolution era. The statistics provide proof that the above UFO sightings cannot be considered factual after all. Did you figure it out?
Airplane Material & Design:
Now, in this modern era, could all the hype about UFO sightings be probable? Let me answer this by enumerating the technical requirements that are needed in designing an airplane (a/p). Then, using the data, we compare and contrast the characteristics of the alien mothership with our conventional aircraft.
First, Physics: what are the four forces that make airplanes a/p) fly. They are always dualpairs. One can't exist without the other. The Thrust pushes the a/p forward and the Drag opposes the thrust. Then the weight of the a/p is pulled by the earth and the Lift opposing gravity and mass.
Second, Propulsion: This is like the engine and systems of a car which provides acceleration and deceleration. Aeronautical engineers figured out that the best method of space propulsion could either be electric or electromagnetic but not plasma, nuclear, or chemical.
Third, Fuselage Materials: This is the structural body of the a/p. Factors to consider here are pressure, mass, weight, and high-temperature resisting materials.
Fourth, Design: Mainframe shapes could be saucer, cylindrical, round, or rectangular type. In terms of airflow, airplane contour must be laminar and not turbulent.
Now, do UFOs meet these four requirements?
It is speculated that when UFO hovers it flies level parallel to the ground. It tilts forward to move forward and tilts backward to stop. It touches down or descends like a falling leaf swinging side to side.
Now, is there anything wrong with the maneuvers? Yes, they defy the laws of physics. First, Newton's third law states that for every action there is an opposite reaction. To have trust, there should be a drag. To have a lift there should be a force of gravity. A semi-sling shot circular motion or force is needed to propel a circular disk just like throwing a frisbee to accelerate.
Material and design: The structural material of UFO is thought to resist or prevent high aerodynamics heating temperature at **Mach 10 speed (10 times the speed of sound = 7500 mph). The ultra-hypersonic speed can produce mega sonic booms that can shatter, annihilate, or fry any person or object standing or watching even at a great distance from its takeoff in a blink of an eye. Any person could also be damaged by air ionization that creates physical severe radiation.
In Ezekiel's "spaceship" story, Ezekiel's encounter with UFO is totally a hoax. He could not write the book of Ezekiel if he was near a UFO's take-off. The sonic boom will not only destroy his eardrums but his DNA as well. He will be annihilated into dust as well.
Now, let me show some rough calculations on how large must the size of an alien spaceship be to survive traveling from its galaxy toward our galaxy. A small spaceship is too small to survive this fit as you will learn later. Therefore our concentration will only focus on the gigantic alien ship -- the mothership.
The largest plane known to man is the Russian Antonov An-225 as far as I know.
Its estimated maximum weight is around 700 tons with a length of around 300 feet and a wingspan of 300 feet and flies at 550 mph max speed.
If an apple weighs around 5 lbs. and 1 ton is about 2000 lbs, then 1 ton = 400 apples where 700 tons is appx. 300,000 apples.
If a football field (360 feet by 160 feet) can accommodate around 7000 people and a person's weight is 200 lbs or 40 apples then 7000 people are 300,000 apples.
If you travel to the sun at 60 mph then it will take you 180 years to get there.
The space shuttle orbits the Earth at about 5 miles per second. A light-year is approximately 10 trillion kilometers or 6 trillion miles. So the shuttle would need about 38,000 years to fly across one light-year.
The nearest galaxy to us is 100,000 light-years. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, which is about 38,000 times faster than the shuttle. If the space shuttle travels at the speed of light in one light-year, then its voyage will take approximately one year. To reach the nearest galaxy, it will take the shuttle 100,000 years.
Simple cells evolve 4.5 billion years. Modern men evolved 200,000 years ago. The first civilization evolved 5000 years ago. The equivalent time period from Moses to Barack Obama is around 3,800 years (yup that long ago).
From all these computations, we learn that the mothership of Ufos needs to store a huge amount of food that will last for 3,700 years. Second, This food is equivalent to 1,350,500 apples (an apple per day per person). And, third, the food weighs equivalent to five Russian Antonov 225.
So if you imagine what is inside a mothership the size of a football field, it must have at least five airplanes of food, not to mention the billions of containers of their fuel, squadrons of spaceships, and other thousands of cargo. This is extremely a very large flying machine traveling at the speed of light. This is like a hippopotamus running gracefully at the speed of the fastest animal on earth. Einstein's theory will not allow this. If the speed will equal the speed of light which becomes constant then the mass of the ship will totally be converted to a huge mass amount of energy.
The main concern of UFO investigators, enthusiasts, and even ancient alien astronauts should be to locate this mother spaceship rather than speculating too much about what people see, experience, and imagine. Nowadays, ufologists call spaceships automatic spacecraft or probes remotely controlled by aliens.
**From the USAF records, the strongest sonic boom ever recorded was 144 pounds per square foot. The shock wave or peak overpressure was produced by an F-4 flying just above the speed of sound at an altitude of 100 feet. There is a probability that some damaged shattered glass, for example, will result from a sonic boom. However, buildings should suffer no damage by pressures of less than 16 pounds per square foot. And, typically, community exposure to sonic boom is below two pounds per square foot. The ground width of the boom exposure area is approximately one mile for every 1,000 feet of altitude; that is, an aircraft flying supersonic at 30,000 feet will create a lateral boom spread of about 30 miles. Some maneuvers, diving, acceleration, or turning, can cause the focus of the boom. Depending on the aircraft's altitude, sonic booms reach the ground 2 to 60 seconds after the flyover. However, not all booms are heard at ground level for a boom to reach the ground, the aircraft speed relative to the ground must be greater than the speed of sound at the ground. For example, the speed of sound at 30,000 feet is about 670 miles per hour, but an aircraft must travel at least 750 miles per hour (a Mach 1, where Mach 1 equals the speed of sound) for a boom to be heard on the ground. Air Force procedures require that, whenever possible, flights be over open water, above 10,000 feet, and no closer than 15 miles from shore. Supersonic operations over land must be conducted above 30,000 feet or, when below 30,000 feet, in specially designated areas. Continuing research specifically addresses modeling the generation of a sonic boom and its impact on the environment people, domestic animals, wildlife, and historical, unconventional, and conventional structures. As an aircraft flies at supersonic speeds it is continually generating shock waves, dropping sonic boom along its flight path, similar to someone dropping objects from a moving vehicle. If the plane makes a sharp turn or pulls up, the boom will hit the ground in front of the aircraft. UFOs, most probably beyond Mach 10, usually make sharp turns. However, there are no sonic events ever heard and recorded by UFO witnesses at all.
Alien Communication problems:
The other requirement is to find out if humans can communicate with aliens. Ufologists depict extraterrestrial or space beings, known as ETs or aliens, as human-like or reptilian-like figures. These space creatures are assumed as highly intelligent and technologically sophisticated. However, because of the principle behind the theory of boundaries (pericorpus), the concept of communication with these creatures is totally implausible. Let me give you some insights to ponder why is this so!
If any of these experts can communicate with any animal like dogs or fish, just like the way we talk or discuss things with our mother or friends, then I would say that human beings are intellectually capable enough to communicate with space visitors.
Because we cannot do this, then even if we encounter the most intelligent alien in the universe; there is no way that they can communicate with us just like the way we cannot communicate with the rest of the animal kingdom. The law of boundaries does not permit this culturally. The only thing humans can do is to copy their technology just like the way we copy things from nature and our environment.
So until homo sapiens, believed to be the most intelligent species on this planet, cannot devise ways to exchange ideas with our closest hairy relatives in the Hominidae family, then maybe we need to think twice. Intelligence has its own hierarchy. In the pyramid of intelligence, the species with the lowest intelligence cannot match the intelligence of the next higher species, and so on and so forth. [Intelligent Konstant 2000].
Other important parameters that must be taken into consideration in the SETI Project:
1. Index of refraction - the lens of an eyepiece can slow down the frequency of a signal. Atmospheric layers do the same. A moving object can also make a signal slow or fast.
2. Rotation and revolution - the earth is rotating and revolving at the same time. The Milky Way is also rotating. If another earth-like planet is on another galaxy located and behaving just like our galaxy, then the possibility of receiving a signal from this galaxy is very very slim like finding a needle in a mountain of hay. At most, the space signal could only be a single pulse since everyone is rotating even though the source of the signal is emitting a continuous train of pulses.
3. Wavelengths - electromagnetic radiation cannot reach the surface of the earth except at very few wavelengths, hence telescopes are placed at the peak of a mountain, mounted in aircraft, or incorporated in orbiting satellites so that these waves can be precisely detected.
4. Inverse-square law - the power of the source of the signal from another planet could only stay at a certain range or distance. The sun is a power source that emits photons that travel at the speed of light. But its frequency or wavelength just like all em-radiations can only cover a certain length of distance and dies down. Because of this, the sun inside a spiral galaxy does not have enough power to illuminate an elliptical galaxy or another similar galaxy even if the signals are continuously emitted non-stop.
A brief timeline of the origin of the words related to Ufology, the countries involved in space explorations, and the history of aviation are enumerated below to provide a clear view of how the concept of UFO originated.

1. Origin of words: Spaceship 1894; spacesuit 1920; spacecraft 1930; space travel 1931; space station 1936; spaceman 1942; Alien (1944); Space-age 1946; Roswell July 1947; Cigar-shape 1948; UFO 1952; Avrocar 1953 (flying disc jeep); Sputnik-1 1957 ( first satellite into space); Space race 1959; Cyborg (1960); spacewalk 1965; Space shuttle 1970.
2. The first eight countries that have successfully launched space probes or robotic spacecraft: USSR (1957), USA (1958), France (1965), Japan (1970), China (1970), the United Kingdom (1971), India (1981), Israel (1988).
3. Birth of Aircraft: Balloon France 1783; Balloon US 1793; glider 1890; First airplane 1903; First Transatlantic 1919.
4. First supposed UFO sightings: Nuremberg Germany 1561; Zacatecas Mexico 1883; Maracaibo Venezuela 1886 and Texas USA 1897.
MUFON discredits UFOs:
The arguments enumerated as follows, which were published in Mufon journals, discredited the existence of alien encounters.
1. If the U. S. government has UFO-type spacecraft it would minimize spending so much money on its conventional rocket development.
2. If a spaceship exists, but not one made by mankind, then it must have been made by some other alien intelligence. If so, space beings who are intelligent enough to build interstellar spacecraft are intelligent enough to make contact properly the same way as us. Although, it is extremely unlikely that communication is possible.
3. While it is known that the elements found on Earth are also present in all parts of the Galaxy, and while it is believed that most stars possess planetary systems, it does not follow that intelligent life is plentiful. Many life forms may exist, but, an "extremely rare combination of events" may be necessary to produce intelligent beings.
4. if alien explorers existed, they would by now have found us. Mankind has been exploring the galaxy but why a more advanced civilization has not done it yet.
5. The distance between galaxies may be anything between a few hundred light-years to several thousand. Such huge distances may mean that physical transportation will always remain impossible.
6. The interstellar flight would demand fuel and a 100 light-year return trip would require many millions of tons of this fuel. It is unlikely that aliens would not expend this amount of energy and time merely to play "hide and seek" with us over decades.
7. It is difficult to think why intelligent species should send an expedition tens of trillions of miles through space with no other constructive purpose but to alarm airline pilots, policemen, and the common tao.
8. If these superior aliens have found some way to cross interstellar space without consuming so much energy or so much time and perhaps, they can travel faster than light or through some worm "holes", then why after so many years they have not changed their tactics/strategies of not showing to us.
9. Time travel, at least backward travel, is a perfect type of contradictory and impossible concept. This may mean that it could be used to explore the past through rotating black holes, but the chance alone would determine where you went, "when" you went, and how to get back home again.
10. Other assumptions like UFOs come from inside the Earth, under the seas, in other dimensions, or in parallel universes are very likely to offer more problems than solutions. (Occam's razor)
Government Cover-ups:
Using again the timeline below, let us examine if there is such thing as government coverup or conspiracy against UFOs, and you the reader be the judge.
1945: Documents suggest that in the latter days of the war, German scientists were working on a disc-like craft.
January 1947: An RAF fighter plane was sent to intercept an unknown object that was tracked on radar. This becomes the first UFO contact.
June 1947: Considered the beginning of the flying saucer craze sensationalized by Pilot Kenneth Arnold
July 1947: "Something" apparently crash lands in rancher William Brazel's field in Roswell, New Mexico.
December 1947: Wright-Patterson AFB was ordered to begin a study known as Project Sign. A precursor to Blue Book.
January 1948: a silvery coned object was recorded on radar.
July 1948: An Eastern Airlines flight encountered a cigar-shaped UFO over Alabama.
December 1949: The press was informed that Project Grudge had been canceled. All UFO sightings that Grudge investigated was said to be hoaxes or natural phenomenon.
May 1950: The first photographs of a daylight flat disc are released by a farming couple over their barn.
September 1951: A new regulation by the USAF requires all UFO witnesses to remain silent on their incidents.
January 1953: CIA felt that the UFO phenomenon was a Soviet prelude to an invasion. In the same year, British authorities issued orders requiring complete silence from all military personnel on UFOs.
1954: The UFO sighting wave began. The word "contactees", had been taken aboard an alien craft, communicated with aliens, and even joined a galactic federation were all taking place.
April 1964: a New Mexico police officer has his encounter with a landed egg-shaped UFO.
June 1965: A NASA astronaut while flying on Gemini 4 saw a can-shaped object. The word "the grays" was also coined this year.
May 1969: The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) comes into being. To this day, it remains one of the most respectable UFO investigation organizations.
Another startling revelation that I found from my research on UFOs was the Project Blue Book's Committee. The panel was headed by Captain Edward Ruppelt, who coined the words "unidentified flying object" in 1952, a scientific consultant by the name of Dr. J. Alen Heneck, and six other members which were eventually reduced into two. The fact that the government did not appoint several top-notch scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and academics to the project, implicitly proves that the government was not totally interested in UFOs since maybe UFOs are actually the government's IFOs. UFOs are nothing but the government's propaganda tool to mislead foreign military intelligence. ;-)
SETI@HOME Project:
The main mission of this project is to search for extraterrestrial intelligence.
Here are the different types of radiation in the Electromagnetic spectrum, in order from lowest energy to highest:
1. Radio: the same kind of energy that radio stations emit into the air for your stereo. But radio waves are also emitted by stars and gases in space.
2. Microwaves: They will cook your popcorn in just a few minutes! Microwaves in space are used by astronomers to learn about the structure of nearby galaxies and our own Milky Way!
3. Infrared: Our skin emits infrared light, which is why we can be seen in the dark by someone using night-vision goggles. In space, IR light maps the dust between stars.
4. Visible: Yes, this is the part that our eyes see. Visible radiation is emitted by everything from fireflies to light bulbs to stars ... also by fast-moving particles hitting other particles.
5. Ultraviolet: We know that the Sun is a source of ultraviolet (or UV) radiation because it is the UV rays that cause our skin to burn! Stars and other "hot" objects in space emit UV radiation.
6. X-rays: Your doctor uses them to look at your bones and your dentist to look at your teeth. Hot gases in the Universe also emit X-rays.
7. Gamma-rays: Radioactive materials (some natural and others made by man in things like nuclear power plants) can emit gamma rays. Big particle accelerators that scientists use to help them understand what matter is made of can sometimes generate gamma rays. But the biggest gamma-ray generator of all is the Universe! It makes gamma radiation in all kinds of ways.
We may think that radio waves are completely different from gamma rays. They are produced in very different ways, and we detect them in different ways. But are they really different things? The answer is 'no'. Radio waves, visible light, X-rays, and all the other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum are fundamentally the same thing. They are all electromagnetic radiation.
Electromagnetic radiation can be described in terms of a stream of photons, which are massless particles each traveling in a wave-like pattern and moving at the speed of light. Each photon contains a certain amount (or bundle) of energy, and all electromagnetic radiation consists of these photons. The only difference between the various types of electromagnetic radiation is the amount of energy found in the photons. Radio waves have photons with low energies, microwaves have a little more energy than radio waves, infrared has still more, then visible, ultraviolet, X-rays, and ... the most energetic of all ... gamma-rays.
Actually, the electromagnetic spectrum can be expressed in terms of energy, wavelength, or frequency. Each way of thinking about the EM spectrum is related to the others in a precise mathematical way. So why do we have three ways of describing things, each with a different set of physical units? After all, frequency is measured in cycles per second (which is called a Hertz), the wavelength is measured in meters, and energy is measured in electron volts.
Electromagnetic radiation from space is unable to reach the surface of the Earth except at very few wavelengths, such as the visible spectrum, radio frequencies, and some ultraviolet wavelengths. Astronomers can get above enough of the Earth's atmosphere to observe at some infrared wavelengths from mountaintops or by flying their telescopes in an aircraft. Experiments can also be taken up to altitudes as high as 35 km by balloons which can operate for months. Rocket flights can take instruments all the way above the Earth's atmosphere for just a few minutes before they fall back to Earth, but a great many important first results in astronomy and astrophysics came from just those few minutes of observations. For long-term observations, however, it is best to have your detector on an orbiting satellite ... and get above it all!
