Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only the sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there are no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
And the world will live as one

— John Lennon (The Beatles, Imagine)

One day the Chinese Philosopher Lao Tzu came upon a friend who ran up to him excitedly and said, "Lao, do you know what I just heard about one of your students?"

"Wait a moment," Lao Tzu replied. "Before you tell me I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Power of Two".

"The Power of Two?!" exclaimed the friend.

"That's right," Lao Tzu continued. "Before you talk to me about my student let's take a moment to test what you're going to say. The first test is about Truth. Are you absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"

"Oh No," his pal said, "Actually I just heard about it."

"All right," said Lao Tzu. "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second test, the test of Goodness. Is what you're about to tell me regarding my student something good?"

"No, on the contrary"

"So," Lao Tzu interrupted, "You want to tell me something bad about him even though you're not certain it's true?"

The friend shrugged, a little embarrassed.

"Well it....no, not really..."

"Well," concluded Lao Tzu, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good, there is no need for me to listen".
